I am going to Tusenfryd amusement park on Saturday. I just love rollercoaster rides, and the "ThunderCoaster" on Tusenfryd is considered to be among the best in Europe.
The park's homepage was a pleasant surprise. It contains among other things a nice, scrollable map slash drawing, where all the rides are clickable, opening a text "window" with info. In a separate pane, a smaller map functions like the "overview window" in Photoshop. If you click in the small map, the larger map will reposition itself. Alternatively, you can use an alphabethical list of all the rides (which works if you know their names...) for the same purpose.
An effective demonstration of the power of graphical overviews.
So now i am prepared to let my acrophobia (scared of heights) fight my love of rollercoasters:
It's made of wood!
I'll let you know if I dared.
