testing with experience

My students all managed to turn in their web site projects in time. Some sat up all last night, I am afraid, but at least they got there.

The first impression is that it looks very good indeed, but I cannot help noticing some obvious design glitches. That was to be expected.

I must remember that students will never test anything unless they are explicitly told to do so. They will assume that everything works: their design, the servers, the scripts. Experience, of course, will teach them that nothing works, and everything must be tested early.
