Sometimes we academic can be hard to follow. Poststructuralist theory is far from everyday language. I laughed out loud when I found this one: Top 10 Things You Never Knew About Grand Theft Auto (Because You're Not Brainy Enough).
Tech writer Stuart Dregde read The Meaning and Culture of Grand Theft Auto, and wrote about it in Tech Digest. He doesn't seem to have liked it much, but he was able to read enough of it to pick out ten quite awful pretentious hard-to-read over-academic paragraphs.
The excerpts are not quite as meaningless as the people commenting on the page thinks, but I won't buy the book soon.
