The clock messed up again. Saturday night, the internal clock was two hours off. I set it. Sunday at noon, it was eight minutes late. I set it, and left the timer to record Synne's favorite show at six. Five past six, I realized the Sharp HR-DV 350 didn't record. I started it manually. The clock was half an hour behind.
Why have an internal clock when it can't keep time?
I set the clock back to automatic mode, relying on the VPS/PCD signal, even if it has caused trouble before. So far, it's OK.
On Saturday I tried to watch a DVD for the first time. At every chapter mark, it lagged visibly. I haven't tried to play other DVDs, but I'm starting to think this box is going back to the store.
