In October, I'll be going to Internet Research 8.0 in Vancouver. The list of speakers is published now, and there are lots of great people presenting.
My proposed paper is on hypertext research publication on the web. Most journals are online now, and I believe we should use the possibilities the web opens, rather than keep writing in a genre made for print on paper.
I have published two stretchtext papers, in Kairos and in the Hypertext conference. My plan was to share the experiences from creating and testing these texts. However, the reveiwers for the conference were more interested in a general overview of hypertext research publishing.
I'll try. I know quite a few interesting hypertexts, but I need help. Please email me your favourite links.
In time, I'll put up a web page where you can keep track of this work. And I'll blog it too, I promise.
