I've often complained how difficult it is to find anything in a blog. When everything is ordered by date, how do you find something you know you read some time?
Answer: you ask Google.
Rereading Manovich's chapter on database and narrative, I sort of remembered a post by Mark Bernstein on this. (I even remembered a photo of pipes at a factory.) I queried Google: "Bernstein Manovich programming."
Item three was the right post, Is this 1976?
