I prefer Eudora. My employer's recent switch to IMAP mail caused some of trouble for Eudora 6, though. The worst was the mailbox list. I've grown dependent on many nested mailboxes, and I drag and drop between mailboxes in a list. That list became an unusable mess last week.
This morning, I tried Apple Mail. It looks better. I still prefer Eudora (follow link for reasons).
After an hour with Mail I found it worthwhile to investigate. Eudora 6.1 was just as buggy, but as I ran the ad version, I caught a sentence in the corner of my eye: "Want to become a Eudora beta tester?." I don't often click on ads, but this time I did.
What a relief. The beta fixes it (and adds some stuff). If you download the Eudora 6.2 beta you get my favorite email app with IMAP support and partial support for the Mac OS address book.
What email app for mac OS do you prefer?
