I'm doing some preparation for a public seminar our research project on Participation and Play in Converging Media is giving on September 23. Here's the blogs inside Norway's largest newspapers this morning. (The papers are ranked in terms of unique users, measured by TNS gallup last week.)

• VG Nett: Two blogs are quoted on the paper's front page, starting 5870 pixels down from the top of the page (I'd like to know how many ever scroll that deep.). Today at 9.30:
  • figo69 wants a bypass road in Levanger
  • Varde is opposed to a new hate-crime law
• These two also top the blog page, where they are followed by:
  • A poem blog, Gatepoetens verden.
  • A story about a bad car finishing job.
  • Gaara longs for winter.
  • A travel blog for a couple on honeymoon.
  • Leifen wants to change from supporting Liverpool to West Ham.
  • Fan blog: Swindon FC.
  • A comment on the Progress Party's foreign policy.
  • A diet blog.
  • A blog about Isla Margarita.
  • A blog about the Progress Party.
  • Discussion thread and a blog post following the death of Steve Irwin.
  • A description of drunk people at a firm party.
  • An erotic fantasy.

Notice that some links are to a specific post, other (honeymoon, Swindon, diet, Isla Margarita, Progress Party) are to the blog itself.

• Dagbladet.no has four blogs from its own service blogging.no on the front page, considerably higher up than VG Nett.
  • A link post to a site with old movies for download.
  • Concert pictures from a rapper in one of Norways most famous rap acts.
